The Bachelor Degree Course in Optics and Optometry belongs to the class of degrees in physical sciences and technologies. It is developed over a period of three years. It is aimed at preparing the student to manage scientific topics and methods along with gaining more specific professional knowledge in optics, optometry, and contact lenses. The Degree includes courses of mathematics, physics, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, but also specific courses of optometry, contact lenses, standard and advanced instrumentation for the field of optics and optometry. In addition, all students are trained for several months at the university laboratories or in Institutions or companies working in the fields of optometry and contact lenses. A few teachers of the professional courses are experts working in the field.
